About GEEKS UNLIMITED™ - A message from our CEO, Mr. Gordon L. Farrell: 


Because our business model operates very differently from what is considered a standard "hierarchy driven" enterprise, many clients and business associates have asked the question "what exactly is your Company all about anyway?"... so, to answer this, and provide some background on how we came to be, here is our story:

Back in early 2004,
while in the process of evaluating IT services to many of my clients,  I quickly realized that computer support technicians were not always on the same page when it came to the continuity of their repair techniques as well as their understanding of what a client actually needed, versus what "they thought" the client needed....

In many instances the service methods provided by various technicians would be so vastly different from one technician to the other (even within the same firm), that the end result was unpredictable as to time required for the repair, and quality of service provided... something that was definitely not in favor of, or fair to, the paying client...

So, the idea of a business model whereby independent computer technicians could somehow join forces and be able to provide a superior level of unified service and customer support, while maintaining standards based processes and consistent techniques, came to be.

The ultimate goal of course, was to turn all customers into "raving fans" after experiencing our service... not an easy task for sure considering the various personalities and skillsets of each technician, in combination with the unique needs of each client!

Being a veteran entrepreneur with a knack for "reinventing the wheel", and having been involved in the creation and operation of numerous successful service and manufacturing industries going all the way back to 1987, I gathered my business experience and thought long and hard on how to create a "better way" of bringing such a severely disjointed industry together to work as one...  a formidable task indeed, but a challenge and an opportunity were both staring me straight in the face and a new vision was born!

GEEKS UNLIMITED™ became a reality in June of 2005, after nearly 8 months of evolving business ideas that eventually became a working model, ready to test the waters…

The unique business concept that I finally came up with allowed professional computer service technicians to group together under the auspices of a very recognizable brand image - and it empowered them with a formidable business infrastructure that not only utilized the shared resources, talent and contributions of all members for the benefit of the business overall, but it effectively would allow each and every member to nurture their own independent business operation into a successful affiliated venture with no limitation on size or growth - real benefits that would give every affiliated member an opportunity to truly succeed!

From the onset, I have been very fortunate to have met and been joined by excellent team members who saw the vision that I diligently tried to convey.  They have fully immersed their own businesses into our now very diverse family of independent owner/operators, and they have shared unselfishly in the overall growth of our organization with the best interests of all members and the Company as a whole at heart.

No individual or Company is an island, and it is with the utmost of gratitude that I express my sincerest appreciation and thanks to my amazing team members for their continued support, knowledge and unwavering assistance as we continue on this incredible trip together! 

Legendary Entrepreneur K.C. Irving put pen to paper in 1924 with the philosophy that "if you take care of the customer, the customer will take care of you" - and this belief has been a driving force for both myself and my great  team of  "people pleasers" since day one!

At GEEKS UNLIMITED™, we believe in listening to our clients first and then asking the right questions afterwards to be able to provide informed service levels second to none – this guarantees that we get things done right the first time, every time!  
All of our licensed members are trained in the unique processes and procedures for the successful operation of their own GEEKS UNLIMITED™ business venture, and they follow specific guidelines in their day to day operations - guidelines that create uniformity and a common bond of team spirit amongst our group - this ensures that all customers, from big business with hundreds of workstations to a residence with a single family computer,  all become the "raving fans" that we strive for at the end of the service call...
